Chapter 152 Guidelines and Rules of the Road

Staggered Formations should be maintained except on narrow roads when riders will use single file formation. Maintain a 2 second gap behind the bike ahead in the same lane. Maintain a 1 second gap behind the bike ahead in the alternate lane. Allow for more following distance as road conditions require. Avoid leaving gaps between bikes so vehicles can not cut through or into the formation
